Does this print include a frame?
No, the print does not come with a frame.
What sizes are available for prints?
I have selected five sizes for prints: 8 x 10, 8 x 12, 11 x 14, 12 x 18, and 16 x 20.
Will the photograph be cropped in the print?
The print will typically be enlarged a small amount for printing, then the edge will be trimmed away. So a small amount of the edges will be cut off.
For photos printed at 8 x 10 and 11 x 14, cropping will occur since these aspect ratios are not the same as my native 3:2 ratio. For this reason, I recommend the 8 x 12, 12 x 18, and 16 x 20 sizes over the 8 x 10 and 11 x 14. I include the 8 x 10 and 11 x 14 sizes because they are more accessible and affordable.
What paper will this be printed on?
Prints will be predominantly printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Professional Paper Super Type PDN – lustre paper.
What is the purpose of lustre coating?
Lustre coating provides protection from fingerprints and slight scratches as well as provides a slightly matte appearance to lustre prints. This coating does not provide UV protection.
What is the archival life of a photographic print?
Over 100 years in typical home display and 200 years in dark storage. In a bright commercial display or an area with direct sun and UV exposure prints should last 1-5 years before fading.
